Cape Town Property For Sale

Cape Town property is always highly sought after, by both the local and international buyer. We give you a brief summary and outline of the suburbs available, including property price ranges.

Cape Town - Southern Suburbs Property

The Southern Suburbs lie south of the City centre, beneath a mountain range. These suburbs are perfect for families, as there are many good schools to chose from in the Southern suburbs, including some international schools.

Constantia Upper and Bishopscourt are very much the top areas in the Southern Suburbs. Leafy, beautiful, up-market and close to the best schools. Great shopping centre in Constantia, superb restaurants, wine farms, equestrian facilities, great Gym (Virgin Active), easy access to freeways, sunny and mostly protected from the wind. Prices range from ZAR 3,5 million to ZAR 20 million.

Constantia, Claremont, Rondebosch and Tokai are also leafy and popular family suburbs, close to top schools and golf courses. House prices range from ZAR 2million to ZAR R6 million.

Newlands is leafy, upmarket, picturesque, close to good schools, shopping centres, good restaurants and the famous Kirstenbosh Gardens. The sun is lost at about 3 pm in winter, thanks to the towering majestic mountains surrounding the valley. House prices start at ZAR 2 million.

Atlantic Seaboard Property

Camps Bay, Clifton, Bantry Bay, Fresnaye and Llandudno have panoramic sea views, sparkling white beaches, magnificent sunsets over the Atlantic, are close to the city centre and the Cape Town Waterfront. The homes are upmarket and luxurious, priced upwards of ZAR 5 million. Champagne lifestyle with golden sunsets!

Blaauwberg, Table View and Sunset Beach enjoy picture-perfect views of Table Mountain and Table Bay. These areas are flat and windy, the beaches are perfect for kite-surfing and other wind-sports. It is a recently developed "new" area. The general architectural styling is Modern-Kitch or Pseudo-Tuscan. House prices range from ZAR 1,2 million to ZAR 4 million.

Hout Bay and Noordhoek offer mountain, valley and sea views, a mix of country and sea-side settings, sunny with panoramic views. Noordhoek is regarded as laid-back and relaxing, close to 3 Golf Courses and 10 minutes away from a good private school.

Hout Bay is leafy and picturesque, but the informal settlement has created security problems for residents. House prices range from ZAR 1,5 million to ZAR 7 million.
